Colony Start Date: September 15th, 2021
I currently keep a very active colony of mourning geckos that consists of Hawaiians, high expression Hawaiians, and yellow bellies. I’ve heard that some keepers have issues keeping different strains of mourning geckos together, but my mixed colony has always done really well. I started out with three geckos (one of each type) in 2021 and now have…more than I can count. When my colony outgrew their original enclosure I started up a second. Now that they are also overpopulating the second, I have a huge cage upgrade planned for them!
